About me
My GIS Career began as a GIS Technician at Photo Science in November 2005. There I did a range of work from true GIS to managing statewide orthophoto collections and many steps in between, especially authoring metadata. I documented over 500,000 square miles of high-resolution orthoimagery and lidar. In 2013, Photo Science merged with Aerometric and Watershed Sciences to become Quantum Spatial. My responsibilities were essentially unchanged with the new company. In October 2016, I was hired at Woolpert in Dayton, Ohio to be a Phase Manager. Since then I was promoted to the role of Team Lead for Quality Control in the Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Discipline of Woolpert. My team and I provide quality control and metadata for a range of geospatial programs. I have experience with many federal agencies, but particularly the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
