About me
Sara Taylor, GISP, is the GIS Manager at Texas811, serving the GIS needs of the 811 community in Texas, South Dakota, and West Virginia. She leads a team of GIS technicians focused on maintaining data for various underground utilities and base mapping, supporting the mission of damage prevention.
Sara serves as a URISA Volunteer. At the chapter level, she volunteers as a URISA Texas Vice Chairman. She has previously served as a former President of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of URISA (MAC URISA), and was a Chair of the URISA Chapter Development & Relations Council.
She received her GISP in 2010 and supports GISP workshop development. Sara holds a B.S. in Environmental Policy from Rutgers University and a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in GIS from Penn State University.
