Born in the southwest city of Tucson, AZ my family migrated to Idaho when I was in my teens. After raising my family, graduating college with degrees in Geology and Geotechnical Studies and after many years of a great life in Boise I moved on to Bozeman, Montana and began my role as GIS Program Manager at the City of Bozeman._x000D_

Currently I am serving as the Vice President of MAGIP and will transition to the President role in May of 2024. While in Boise I had the great opportunity to serve in many positions on the Southwest Idaho GIS User Group (Volunteer, Coordinator, Web Editor, VP and President). I also served as a conference committee volunteer for the Northern Rockies Chapter of URISA and supported the Idaho Geospatial Council Executive Committee (IGC-EC) with the process of researching and writing the 2021 Idaho Strategic Plan for GIS._x000D_

Working on the Gallatin Valley Sensitive Lands protection Plan has been the highlight of my GIS career and I am thrilled to be able to share the journey that the City of Bozeman, citizens of the greater Gallatin Valley region, the Sensitive Lands Working Group, and our consultants at Logan Simpson took to create the Gallatin Valley Sensitive Lands Protection Plan._x000D_
