Nominated by URISA, Lynn Dupont was appointed in 2022 to serve a 3-year term on the NGAC, a US Federal Advisory Committee focused on providing advice and recommendations on national geospatial policy / management issues, the advancement of the US National Spatial Data Infrastructure, and the implementation of the 2018 Geospatial Data Act.
Lynn is the Principal Planner / GIS Manager for the Regional Planning Commission (RPC) that represents the New Orleans metropolitan area on matters of regional importance, including transportation, economic development, and the environment. They are the governing board of one of eight multi-parish
planning and development districts in Louisiana. The RPC also functions as a part of the region’s Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO).
She is also an Adjunct Instructor at the University of New Orleans Department of Geography.
